Finance Analyst - FP&A Assistant - Lisbon

The Role

To produce month end results, forecasting, budgeting, and business insight analysis. Primarily focused on P&L revenue and costs. This role is based in Lisbon supporting the Finance Business Partner and Head of FP&A. Base salary of 30-35k Euros depending on experience +10% bonus and other benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and agree month end results produced and posted onto the accounting system by the General Ledger team.
• Own and run the month end management reporting revenue and cost models.
• Produce month end business insight analysis and commentary.
• Identify and recommend revenue growth and cost saving initiatives in collaboration with Sales, Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams.
• Support and run budget and forecasting models.
• Produce weekly trading results, month end outturn projections, risks and opportunities and business insight.
• Produce revenue reports from the Revenue Data Base.
• Audit support for annual accounts.
• Ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Head of FP&A.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Excellent academic record in a numerical (or scientific) discipline.
• Qualified accountant is a bonus.
• Experience of doing month end accounting tasks, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong excel skills and experience using accounting and CRM systems.
• Ability to build financial models using large data sets and advanced statistical methods.
• Strong analytical ability and able to think commercially.
• A collaborative approach with strong influencing skills.
